Managing your account and settings

Set up notifications, secure your Oinkly account with email verification, choose your currency, manage your news sources and handle your subscription and billing.

Your settings let you tune how Oinkly behaves and keep your account secure. Here's what each section does.

Notifications

Turn Oinkly's reminders and alerts on or off, and switch on login notifications to get an email whenever your account is signed into — a simple way to spot anything unexpected.

Security

Under Security you can change your password and turn on email verification (a light form of two-factor security): at sign-in, Oinkly emails you a short code to confirm it's really you. If you change devices, you can reset email verification and set it up again.

Your details and currency

Keep your profile up to date — your date of birth is used for age-based features like Lifetime ISA and pension access rules. Default currency sets what your balances are shown in; most UK users leave this as £ GBP.

News sources

Oinkly can show financial news from sources you choose. Add a source by pasting a website address (without the http://) and letting Oinkly scan it for a news feed automatically, so you don't have to hunt for the link.

Subscription and billing

Manage your plan, switch between monthly and yearly billing, and see your billing history here. If you cancel, you can choose to cancel at the end of your paid period (keeping your features until it runs out) or immediately. A status like "Past Due" means a payment didn't go through and needs attention. Big Pig members also see their valuation credits here — each automatic property valuation uses one.

Good to know

Because Oinkly holds figures you enter rather than a live bank connection, keeping login notifications and email verification on is a sensible, low-effort way to keep your account yours.
