Terms of Service
The terms governing your use of Oinkly's UK personal-finance app, free calculators and related services.
1. Agreement to terms
By creating an account or using Oinkly, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.
2. Service description
Oinkly is a UK personal-finance tracking app. It helps you record and monitor savings accounts, current accounts and cash, ISAs, pensions, Premium Bonds, property and other assets and liabilities in one place. Core features include net-worth tracking over time, interest and maturity tracking, FSCS protection monitoring with alerts when your covered balance is at risk, and Smart Pig rate alerts that flag when better savings rates become available.
Alongside the app, Oinkly publishes a set of free public tools and calculators (including a net-worth calculator, savings-interest calculator, savings-goal calculator, ISA allowance calculator, Personal Savings Allowance calculator and FSCS limit checker) that anyone can use without an account.
3. Tools, calculators and estimates
The free tools and calculators listed above, and any figures shown anywhere in the Oinkly app or on our website, are provided for general information and guidance only. They are estimates or illustrations — not financial, tax or legal advice — and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete or current.
- You should verify anything you plan to rely on independently — for example, confirming FSCS protection with the official FSCS checker.
- Any property or other asset values in the app are your own estimates. Oinkly does not provide valuations.
- Net-worth figures, interest projections, maturity dates and tax-allowance calculations are indicative only and depend on the data you enter.
- Rate and FSCS alerts are triggered from third-party and reference data and may lag or contain errors — always confirm with the provider before acting.
4. User accounts and responsibilities
Account creation: you must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep your login credentials secure.
Prohibited uses: using the service for illegal activities; attempting to breach security measures; sharing false or misleading information; interfering with other users' access.
5. Payment and billing
Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice.
6. Intellectual property
Oinkly and its content are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our written permission.
7. Limitation of liability
Oinkly provides information and tools but is not a financial adviser. We are not liable for financial decisions made based on our service. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for our services.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your access to the service will cease, and we may delete your data according to our data retention policy.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
