Your calendar and alerts
Let Oinkly remind you about the dates that matter — bonus rates ending, bonds maturing, FSCS exposure, document expiries and payments — all on one calendar.
Money admin is mostly about not missing dates. Oinkly watches for the ones that matter and puts them on a calendar so nothing sneaks up on you.
Turning on alerts
On any account, turn on Smart Alerts and record its conditions — a bonus rate that expires, a bond that matures, a minimum monthly deposit. Oinkly then reminds you before the date arrives.
The calendar
Every reminder lands on your calendar, colour-coded by type. You choose what shows: filters let you hide event types you don't care about, so it stays uncluttered. Events include interest payments, FSCS protection warnings, ISA and pension dates, bond maturities, terms and conditions, loan payments, document expiries and property or tenancy dates. Each event shows a countdown so you can see how long you've got.
The alert that saves the most
The single most valuable reminder is a bonus-rate expiry. Rates often drop sharply when an introductory deal ends, so set that alert when you open the account, while you still remember the date — then Smart Pig can point you to a better home when the time comes.
Good to know
FSCS protection events show when a bank balance is due to cross the £120,000 limit, and by how much — a prompt to spread money before, not after, it matters.
